Dragonglass Arakh - Game of Thrones Fanart

I made this stylized sickle inspired by Game of Thrones, for the “fire and ice” art challenge held by ZugZug studio. Modeled in Blender and textures handpainted in 3DCoat Textura. Rendered unlit.
If I had more time, I'd love to add damage and more detail to the crossguard and blade, and fix the color banding on the blade.

My concept was, what if the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Stormborn's, obsidian weapon from one of the seasons was instead an arakh sickle, as an homage to her Dothraki “roots” and her love for Khal Drogo.

The blade of course being obsidian (though I know it's in a very unrealistic shape for the brittle material!) With a dragon-wing inspired crossguard and the typical bone hilt you see on many dragonglass daggers in the show, covered in a scale-inspired wrapping. A gem for fun and warm colors as another homage to the Dothraki desert.

I went with a World of Warcraft style, and the asthetics are perhaps too inspired by Sailor Moon, which I watched as a palette cleanser in between episodes of GOT as I designed this piece.
