My goals for this project were to capture the warm, delicious vibes of food in cozy games, improve my stylization skills, and learn Blender, coming from Maya, with something a bit simple.
---
-I took most of my design inspiration from the food in my favorite childhood game, Webkinz. I looked at games like WOW, BOTW, Palia, and Wayfinder for low poly stylization and exaggeration reference.
-I modeled the lowpoly mesh in Blender, then created highpoly versions to sculpt details into. I baked the details onto the lowpoly mesh. I then edited the normal maps manually in a painting software to perfect the depths and effects I wanted.
-I also painted my textures on the UV map in my painting software.
-I imported my model and textures into Unreal to render. I created the liquid and glass materials from there.
-In Unreal, I reversed the normals of the liquid mesh to get an opaque liquid effect without covering up the floating fruit.

In my next project, I'd like to push the stylization in sculpted details even further, and work on improved lighting.
